Learning a Language
Learning a Language.
Katt here. Recently I’ve taken up learning the Russian language. Being raised...really American, I never understood why foreigners had issues pronouncing simple English words. After learning an entirely new alphabet...I get it now. Letters literally make different sounds, and keeping track or two different words for the same objects is mentally complicated.
Learning a new language makes your brain work a little harder. It creates a need to slow down when you are speaking. Very much requiring you to think before you open your mouth.
Russian is not something that’s going to happen over night. Learning a language requires relentless practice. Requires new patterns in your mind, to develop not only speaking, but thinking in a second tongue.
Lucky for me I have a personal private tutor as a Cosmic Twin. 👯♀️
